Although Offset — born Kiari Kendrell Cephus — and his fellow group members Quavo and Takeoff have managed to dodge rumors regarding the official disbanding of the beloved Migos rap group, he is getting vocal about his rights as an individual artist. Uproxx reports that the Migos rapper was recently ordered to pay more than $950,000 for a Bentley that he allegedly rented from a luxury auto rental company in Los Angeles — which was subsequently stolen. For what it’s worth, the value of the Bentley in question is roughly $177,000 — and it’s the demand for more than five times the value of the car that has Offset up in arms. Court documents obtained by Radar Online reveal that Trick Daddy owes nearly $23,000 to bring his Chapter 13 bankruptcy filing current. He has 45 days to cure the debt, or he will be deemed in default. If he fails to come up with the nearly $23,000 owed to the courts, his bankruptcy will be discharged, and collection efforts can begin anew on his assets. And that’s not all he owes.
